Revenue Sources
The International Journal of Contemporary Security Studies (IJCSS) is a non-profit, open-access academic journal committed to editorial independence and financial transparency.
Funding and Institutional Support
IJCSS is funded exclusively through institutional support provided by the Faculty of Security Studies, University of Belgrade. This support may include financial coverage and/or in-kind contributions such as editorial infrastructure, technical assistance, and administrative support for the journal’s operations.
No fees: IJCSS does not charge submission fees, peer-review fees, or Article Processing Charges (APCs).
Advertising and Sponsorship
IJCSS does not sell advertising and does not rely on commercial sponsorship in its routine operations. Any external partnership—if ever considered—must not compromise editorial independence, peer-review integrity, or transparency.
Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are made solely on the basis of academic quality, originality, and relevance. Funding sources do not influence editorial outcomes, and the journal safeguards the integrity of its review and publishing processes.
